Christian Florence
Since age 13, learning to juggle and being involved in the magic and wonder of circus has been a huge part of Christian's life (understatement!).

He attributes learning to juggle with developing self confidence in his teens, building resilience into his life as a young person and accidentally on purpose building a life-long career. This is what keeps him going, wanting others to discover the same magic for themselves.
​
Christian's skills have taken him across the world and back, performing, managing events and now in Tasmania focusing mostly on teaching.
​
Cirque Tasmania is the 4th iteration of his circus enterprise in Australia, the other one being Melbourne Juggling Convention, now in it's 18th year!

Shannon McGurgan

Shannon can cook, crochet, guess people's weights and, above all, he has the gift of engaging audiences, specially children.
​
If he had been born in The Renaissance, he would have probably got along with Mr. Da Vinci. If in the 20's, then he surely would have hung out with Boris Vian and his gang.
Anyway, he was born in Australia, some time within the past century. The elder twin brother by one minute of the McGurgan family. He's managed to become the nerdy, sweetly unique, silly kind clown that he is now.

Olive loves the circus, and we love her! She is a talented fire performer with the Hobart Fireflies and a professional photographer to boot!
